Land of Promise Wines
“I’m an immigrant to this country, and, for me, my vision for Land of Promise is for it to be an all-American wine where people remember what America is all about,” winemaker Diana Karren said. “America is a country of immigrants that believed in God, and that America is more than just a country. It is an idea, and people; brave men and women fought for this idea. The idea behind Land of Promise is to unite people, and bring them back to basics. It sometimes takes an immigrant to do that.”

Terra de Promissio
OUR TRIBUTE ON THE BACK LABEL:
Land of Promise is a story of an immigrant family pursuing the American dream with hard work and sacrifices made along the way. Our ultimate goal is to create a wine, which expresses the unique terroir of our vineyard, Terra de Promissio, the commitment and passion of three generations who farm it, and the promise of this land.
WINE DESCRIPTION:
This wine is a blend of our signature clones 115 and 777, which have rich history of producing award-winning wines. Handpicked in the middle of harvesting season, grapes were de-stemmed and cold soaked at low temperatures for 4 days to delay the fermentation and to extract color and flavor from grape skins. After the primary fermentation, the wine was inoculated with French yeast and went though the malolactic fermentation in the barrel, aging for 18 months. A dark ruby colored wine with flavors of tart cherry, blackberry, and subtle hint of Earl Grey tea; it is a highly appealing Pinot Noir.
Clones: 115 and 777 Alcohol: 14.2%
Deo Favente
OUR TRIBUTE ON THE BACK LABEL:
Translated from Latin, Deo Favente means “With God’s Favor” and was originally proposed by the Founding Fathers of our great country for the Seal of the United States of America.
This wine from our vineyard, Terra de Promissio, is our tribute to the Almighty God, His guidance and providence, which our family witnessed on our journey to the Land of Promise.
WINE DESCRIPTION:
There was a minimal involvement in the winemaking process of this blend. Hand-picked in the beginning of harvesting season, the de-stemmed fruit fermented on its natural yeast, present in our vineyard. Aged for 11 months in French barrels, the wine was bottled unfiltered to preserve flavors of wild strawberry, blood orange and rhubarb. Light and similar to high-end Burgundy in style, this blend is complex and spiritual.
Clones: 777 Alcohol: 13.2%
