We invite you to make a reservation and join us at our Fredericksburg Ranch House, located at 4800 RR 965, seven minutes north of main street and next door to Boot Ranch. Our 25 year story at Land of Promise is grounded in our vineyards, and it is here where we share our wines with our guests at our newest property here in Texas, which includes a restored ranch house and thoughtful outdoor spaces.
Due to our limited production and to ensure a personalized experience for visitors to the property, we limit the number of daily tastings.
All visits are private and by appointment Thursday-Sunday and for guests 21 and older only. Unfortunately due to limited space, no children or animals are permitted.

Experiences
Your private tasting begins with a welcome at our Fredericksburg Ranch House and Vineyard, where you’ll be greeted by your host and introduced to the rich history of our vineyard and wine-making practices. You’ll then be seated in one of our thoughtfully curated spaces—inside the Ranch House or in one of our elevated outdoor spaces (weather permitting)—to enjoy the tasting experiences described below. All tasting experiences include a shared plate of chef-made small bites and in-house charcuterie. Please select the same tasting experience for your entire group.
“Stars & Stripes” Four-Wine Tasting
Your host will guide you through a tasting of four wines from our library, sharing insights into our winemaking techniques, vineyard sites, and the unique characteristics of each wine.
Duration: 60 – 75 minutes
Price: $40 per guest (for parties of 1–8)
Private Reception Tasting for Large Groups
Whether you have a larger group interested in learning more about our wines or are looking to add an unforgettable winery experience to your special celebration, we offer a private reception-style tasting experience for groups of 11-24 guests. Gate Instructions
Located on Ranch Road 965 on the way to Enchanted Rock, Land of Promise is located 7 minutes north of Main Street in Fredericksburg and next door to Boot Ranch.
Land of Promise is 4800 Ranch Road 965 and marked by an electronic gate that is located 500 feet past Maverick Lane and 500 feet before Achtzehn Lane .
Once you pass Maverick Lane, take a left onto the driveway and press the call button. After we confirm your reservation, we will then buzz you in and head up the driveway and park. We will greet you at the entrance of our Texas Ranch House.
Please note, there is no vineyard or ranch house access from either Maverick Lane or Achtzehn Lane. Only access is the gate on 965.

FAQ
May I bring my dog to the Fredericksburg Ranch House?
We cannot allow pets on the property unless they are service animals.
May I bring my well-behaved child to my tasting at the Fredericksburg Ranch House?
We are not able to see guests under the age of 21 on site.
May I share a tasting?
Due to the seated style and private nature of our experiences, we do not allow guests to share tastings.
I’m running late, what should I do?
If you are running more than 10 minutes late, please call us at 830.800.4888. Due to the nature of our tastings, it is possible we might need to reschedule your tasting for a later date.
Are tasting fees waived with purchase of wine?
Tasting fees are not waived with purchase.
May I smoke on property?
We do not allow smoking of any kind on site.
What is the cancellation policy?
If you need to cancel, we request that you do so at least 48 hours in advance so our hospitality team can plan accordingly. Otherwise the full tasting fees will be charged. Give us a call at 830.800.4888 for any changes or questions.
May I have a picnic at the Fredericksburg Ranch House?
We do not allow picnicking on site but there are several beautiful places to picnic in the Texas Hill Country. Please visit Fredericksburg web site if you’d like suggestions.
Is the Fredericksburg Ranch House wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Please inform us if you or a guest will be needing accommodations so we can ensure you have the best experience.
Can my driver or translator join my tasting?
We are happy to welcome translators to ensure you have the best possible experience during your tasting. Please let us know in advance if a translator will be accompanying you so we can reserve a seat for them.
Regarding drivers, we kindly ask that they do not join the tasting. They are welcome to wait in their vehicles or return at the conclusion of your tasting. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.
Is it possible to get an Uber or a Taxi to and from the Fredericksburg Ranch House?
To ensure a smooth experience, we recommend scheduling all rides in advance when using a rideshare app. Due to our remote location, data service may be limited for some users.
